After COVID-19 kept everyone at home, BRUU re-opened gradually to in-person events.  We started to gather outdoors at the corner of Church and Main streets once a month, and took advantage of the entertainment offered by the city of Manassas at its First Friday events.

We continue to gather for First Fridays between 6:00-7:00pm.  It’s a chance to mingle, talk, and visit casually for a few minutes before wandering to see street performances, listen to the bands, and get a meal at a downtown restaurant.   Look for the bubbles, and partake of some popcorn.

At 7:00pm we shut down the bubble manufacturing machine, which is a magnet for children and dogs.  That is often when the fire pit is ready for making S’mores and roasting marshmallows to a golden brown.  Charcoal is popular too, based on the attention span of the person holding the stick…

The city has a theme each month for its First Fridays.
