To be an Antiracist means… (video)

In his award-winning book “How to be an Antiracist,” Ibram X. Kendi takes the reader on an autobiographical journey through his own evolving understanding of racism. From childhood, to Prince William County’s MLK, Jr. oratory contest, through Temple University and now the founding director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center which will be located at Boston University, Kendi creates a new language to understand race and the hierarchical system our ancestors created. Profoundly moved, members of the BRUU Kendi book study group will share some of their discoveries and reflections.
